Ladies and Gentlemen,
Funeral of Hazel Mayou Hopkins – Monday 20th October 2025
Many of you will have heard by now the sad news that my beautiful wife, Hazel, died peacefully in Heartlands Hospital in Birmingham at around 10.15am on Friday 26th September 2025. I apologise for notifying you in this relatively formal manner but I want to try to ensure that everyone who knew her will be thinking of her during her funeral on Monday 20th October 2025 and that as many as possible of you will be able to attend the service of celebration of her life in Knowle Parish Church at 12.30pm on that day. The arrangements are as follows: -

11.30am Crematorium – Family only

Please note that this should be a celebration of Hazel’s life so you should wear bright colours - no need for black.
